Pall bearers at her funeral were as follows: Howard Wilcox, Howard Huntley, Albert Burtzlaff, Norman Johnson, Charles Johnson and Ralph Smith. The G.A.R. ladies conducted part of the ceremony at her home. On March 27, 2007, John mentioned that his Grandma Burtzlaff died as a result of breast cancer. Also I recall a memory from my mother that Aunt Franc stated a few days before her passing that she had a dream of visiting Heaven and was so impressed of how beautiful it is.. She further said that she was ready to go there.
