Aunt Mabel’s new address (2005) is:46 W N Second St., Spring Valley, WI 54767. She removed from 137 E. Center Ave, Apt 102, Elmwood, WI 54740-8920. In the spring of 2006, Mabel needed blood transfusions which she received in the hospital, (Eau Claire?} Then she was transferred to the Spring Valley Nursing Home where she seemed to be comfortable.Juleen, Alice, Nethis and I payed her a nice visit one afternoon - Thursday, June 2006. She passed away on Monday July 3, 2006 at the Spring Valley Health Care Center in Spring Valley. At the time of her death, Aunt Mabel had 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Rev. D. Peter Friberg officiated, and Debbie (Cindy’s) Bowman sang 2 songs accompanied by herself on the piano. “On Eagle’s Wings” and {will fill in the title later} She was buried in the Spring Lake Cemetery nearby. Her pallbearers were Carl, Jeff, Randy, Steve, Jerry and Joe.
