Ramona is a very active lady volunteering her skills in many fields. Her teaching career gives her the opportunity to express herself in many directions: her pupils, friends and singing at church, and her interest in sewing, computers, music, cooking and reading. When Dusty and Mona opened a computer business ( Computer Mart), they operated a store and gave lessons to beginner computer buffs and intermediated classes. A letter and card received on Valentine’s Day, 2007 shows Mona has taken up a new hobby of quilting.
They are operating a new business called Fresh FACS, which takes Dusty and Mona to conferences throughout the summer months. The 1st one in Madison, WI 2007. In year 2008, they were awarded “The Spotlight Award” for the month of August for the most attractive home and yard in Pinckneyville.
