Notes for Dorothy Jane SMITH
Jane had a very close friend since her employment at Daniel Wright School, Illinois in the name of Marge Brouwer, an art teacher there, especially after Homer died. After Jane’s automobile accident in Wisconsin when she suffered a broken bone in her neck, she was unable to pass a driver’s test. So Marge would drive her all over. Even to visit our Mother here in Stillwater and brought her little dog along. His name?? I’ll ask John. Attendants at their wedding were Dorothy Hatch ,Winnetka, IL and Ralph Ott of Wheeling, IL per clipping from an a wedding announcement in a Stillwater Gazette that Ads Bahr saved and mailed to me recently,
