Emmett was a 50 yr. member of St.John’s Masonic Lodge #l and the Washington chapter #17, Royal Arch Masons , Stillwater,MN. He was a WWII veteran and a member of American Legion Post 491 of Bayport, MN. Emmett had a warm personality,setting a good example for Gladys’s boys and his family, Ann, Steven and his grandchildren; they loved him. Keith and Shirl were instrumental in ordering a veteran’s paver with Emmett’s name and service connection to be placed near Keith’s and Herb’s pavers in the Third and Pine Sts.Veteran’s Memorial Park in Stillwater.
