Notes for Samuel HINCKLEY
On 25 of March, Samuel Hinckley of Tenterden, County Kent, England, and several other families from that county, making a total of 102, sailed on the “Hercules” 200 tons, under Capt. John Witherly, from Sandwich, England, and arrived in Boston, Mass., Sept. 18, 1634, More than 1/2 of those passengers settled in Scituate, Mass. (Page 7) Samuel wtote and signed his Will on Oct. 8, 1662
