George and Cedina had:Eva Hinds, b. Jun 1869, mar. Albert Jarchow She d. 4 Jan 1905 during childbirth. They lived on Section 23 & 26 - 90 acres Tn of May Archie, Ernest, Frank E. ( Myrtle Tolbert) Frank was killed at Vinney Ridge 1917., Local Greeder, Hinds Comfort Post # 323 was named after him. William Hinds,born 1881 lived in Balsam Lake, WI ,mar. and had Mabel,Wm Jr.,Tom and Eugene Hinds. Geo. and Cedina also had:Frances Georgia who mar. O.B. Masterman, and no. 7 was Harriet “Hattie”Hinds who mar. Morrell Ellis Judkins and had a son, Marvin who mar. Mary Ann ---?They lived on the old Schweitzer farm on Dellwood Road (Old Hwy 96).
See FGS for more history about him. When at age 11 he left home and moved to Oxford, Massachusetts. In 1861 he came to Washington Co. Mn and enlisted in Company C - 8th Minnesota, serving under Gen. Sibley in the Indian campaign for 2 yrs., then with Gen. Sherman in his march to the sea. After Aug. 13, 1865 he was a lumberman for 11 yrs. then went on to farming.
