John made a well planned move to rural Stillwater in 1976, building a home on 7 acres near Pleasaant Lake which is part of his Grandparents’ farm on 9290 N. Mendel Road, Stillwater Township. He is a proud owner of white Smoyed dog,Yogi, who is a true friend to him. On Monday, November 7th, 2005, John visited me and we had a very warm conversation about our families. He brought me the handwritten letter that his mom, Vera wrote about a week before she passed away.
