Notes for Lou MILLS
Grandma Lou was a very joyful, tolerant lady in everyone’s eyes. She set a good example to us all. She and Grandpa lived in a 2-story house in Oak Park over looking a panoramic view of the St. Croix River. Old Hwy, #212 crossed the site just east of the front porch. After her house was sold, she was a resident at the home of Mrs. LaMotte in St.Croix Beach, Minnesota. Later she became more dependent and was moved to the old Pine Point Nursing home north of Stillwater. In 1963 she passed away in Lakeview Memorial Hospital, Stillwater.
