After Edna passed away,Wayne had a very close friend, Rita Engfer, who was there for him, cooking and joining him hosting Bingo parties at the nursing home where Wayne was a volunteer for many y ears. She was born 27 August, 1932 and died on the 5th of August, 2002, in St.Paul. Rita also was very close to Karen,filling her needs as a mother figure. Wayne sold his home on Earl St. St. Paul and is now living in an apartment. (2004)
