Don enjoyed Square dancing, especially with his long time girl friend, Marilyn.When he was in school in Minneapolis,Don would spend his summer months living with Jud and Nelle, helping with farm chores. Jane, Norm and I liked having him,as he was a very likable fun fellow.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Attending basic Service in Camp Pendleton in California. i,do not remember when he was honorably discharged.
