Notes for Frederick William GAIL
After Uncle Fred and Aunt Matie moved to California for his allergies, he purchased the 12 lots where his first wife was buried. A reddish pillow shaped monument was erected for her gravesite. He thoughtfully gave the remaining 11 lots to Mariah, who was the oldest living descendent on the Smith family. (perhaps Sherman Gail did it) Since then others buried there were Uncle Warren (aka Mike) , Aunt Lucy chose to be interred in California., Aunt Maria, Uncle Charlie, Norman, Dad (Ralph), Mom, (Aileen), Herbert. A baby (Loretta Smith) earlier. I will have my ashes buried in Herb’s grave.
