Mary “Polly” Jenkins died as Mary “Polly” Howard on ly 9 months after they were married. On file is a note that states Mary Gossett had 2 brothers: Abraham b. 5 Jun 1822 d, 15 Dec 1904 Bur in Downsville, Wisconsin. and a James R. Gossett b. Illinois OR Kentucky d, abt 1900 and farmed in Maiden Rock, Wisconsin. 2007, Joyce McDonald researches the Gossett family line;finds the birth record in records in Mesa, Arizona relating to an illegitamate daughter of Jane Gossett. Jane was born at 5 A.M.15 July 1887. Place: Elmwood, Wiconsin.Mother listed as being born in Hancock, Illinois, Father listed as unknown. Date of registration: 13 August, 1887.
